Gloria Q. Zhao, CPA, CFE

Principal

Gloria Q. Zhao has over 14 years of accounting and auditing experience. She joined GJC in January 2002 as a Staff Accountant after having served as a Senior Cost Accountant for The Coca-Cola Enterprises, Inc. She became a Senior Accountant in July 2003, Managing Senior in July 2004, and Manager in July 2005. Gloria was promoted to Senior Manager in September 2006 and has been a Principal since June 2007.

As a Principal, Gloria is responsible for managing all facets of audits, reviews, and compilations for many of the Firm’s major clients. This includes scheduling and supervising audits of employee benefit plans, private foundations, and non-profit organizations, in compliance with Government Auditing Standards and the provisions of the Uniform Guidance. Gloria also serves as the Firm’s Certified Fraud Examiner.

Professional Highlights:

Gloria received her B.S. and M.S.A. in Accounting from Eastern Michigan University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, and the Association of Fraud Examiners. Gloria is licensed as a CFE in the states of Michigan and Illinois. Gloria formerly served on the Board of Directors of the Executive Women International Detroit-Windsor Chapter as the chapter’s treasurer. She currently serves as Board Treasurer for the Association of Chinese Americans. Gloria is a licensed CPA in the states of Michigan and Illinois.
