As the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to spread in Michigan and due to the Executive Order issued by Governor Gretchen Whitmer this morning, I want to update you on changes that are taking place at GJC to comply with this order. First and foremost, GJC’s number one priority is the safety and well-being of our people and their families, our clients, and the communities in which we live and work. As a result of the Executive Order, GJC has moved to a 100% virtual office environment and our physical offices will be closed until April 13th, however we will continue to accept phone calls at (313) 965-2655 during normal business hours. We want to assure you that our move to a completely virtual environment will cause minimal disruption to the delivery of our services. We have made the appropriate adjustments to ensure that each of our team members are able to work remotely for as long as they may need to. Through our Secure Client Portal, we are able to exchange documents with our clients.
In addition, we are currently set up to receive payments via ACH and will make this information available to all of our clients to facilitate this virtual work environment for however long it is necessary.
GJC continues to develop, update and share guidance with our professionals so they are fully informed on how to protect themselves, their families and their clients against transmission of the virus. Please be assured that while we remain focused on the health and safety of our professionals and those around us, we also are focused on continued service to our clients. I hope that you and your loved ones are well, and we are here if you need us.
